Rivaling Rask for the title of “most monstrous Freelancer,” Phaedra is an imposing frontliner. Accustomed to hunting her prey in the maze-like Depths, she has the unique ability to burst through walls to surprise her enemies.
Evolution Solutions doesn’t believe in waste. When an experiment goes wrong, they pour old resources into something new. After all, who knows what creature might benefit from an extra set of chitinous legs or toxic fangs? Thus, Phaedra came into existence. The powerful creature is capable of smashing the ground with such force, she disrupts the terrain around her. The emergence of constantly evolving lairs and labyrinths throughout the Depths suggests that Phaedra has escaped from EvoS repeatedly over the course of her lifetime – most recently during a chaotic break-in at the Trust. Some terrified citizens claim that Phaedra is the notorious “terror of the Depths,” thought to feast upon the colonies of Gremunks that EvoS has discarded, though others dismiss those tales as myth. However, one only need point to the infamous Grey family massacre to know that some myths do have claws.
Please note: Phaedra will not be available in ranked matches for 2 weeks.
Inspired by The Case, Extraction features two teams competing to capture a briefcase full of intel. Pick up and control the case to achieve victory, but beware – holding the case will reveal you to enemies as well!
Control the Case – Move over the case to pick it up. You will drop the case if you dash, die or take too much damage.
Gain Points – 1 point per turn for holding the case, and 2 points per takedown.
Extract the Case – at 10 points, a team’s extraction zone appears. End your turn in the extraction zone with the case to win. At turn 20, the team with the most points will also be declared the victor.
New Status Effects – The case holder is revealed and cannot sprint, and if you drop the case you cannot pick it back up until after the next turn.
